Col. Taylor earned a Master of Science in Information Assurance, a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
Col. Franyate D. Taylor assumed command of the Crane Army Ammunition Activity on July 20, 2023. Crane Army Ammunition Activity safely receives, inspects, stores, ships, renovates, demilitarizes, and manufactures conventional ammunition, missiles, and related components to support Army and Joint Force readiness.
Taylor enlisted in the Army in 1991, and she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the Ordnance Corps from Officers Candidate School, Fort Benning (known as Fort Moore since 2023), Georgia in April 1999.
She has earned a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Master of Science in Information Assurance, a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland University College, College Park, Maryland.
